The Singapore cat – called the Kucinta or Singapura.

It’s supposedly a street/drain cat originating from Singapore.

I love those emerald green eyes!

“Kucinta” is an amalgamation of two Malay words: kuching (cat) & cinta (love); and the cat was promoted by the Singapore Tourist Promotion Board (STPB) as the country’s mascot back in the 1990s.

“Singapura” is the old Malay name of Singapore. It means Lion (singa) City (pura).

This photo was taken in an HDB housing estate, with a Moto G4 Plus Android smartphone from Lenovo.
