#ttmFood: Tried out the Five-cut #Sashimi (S$52) at #MaguroDonya MiuraMisakiKou #Sushi & Dining in Singapore. Its predescessor was the 3-cut sashimi. The medley of five #maguro cuts: Hon Akami, #Chutoro, #Otoro, Kamatoro (new) and Toumi (new). The top loin part of the fish, the Hon Akami has a lean texture, and is best for those who are health-conscious. The Chutoro is the mid-fat portion of the loin. The Otoro is the fattest amongst the cuts, with an exquisite marbling texture akin to that of wagyu beef. The Kamatoro comes from the part between the fish cheek and fish collar, with a good balance of fat and meat. The head of the bluefin tuna, Toumi is so delicate and high in fat content that it has to be served semi-frozen.

The Japanese maguro #restaurant is located within #EatAtSeven in Suntec City Mall (Lvl 03-310). In addition to #刺身 & #寿司, the eatery now introduces new non-#sashimi tuna dishes as well.
