The Insight Vacations 40th Anniversary (IV40) app enables users to scan photos to access additional information – on their smartphones – of selected European destinations that Insight Vacations offers.

The Visual Recognition Technology replaces the use of QR codes while the app enables companies to interact with their customers by embedding additional information on each still image.

This roll-out is a pilot implementation corresponding to Insight Vacations’ participation in the 3-day (23-25 March) NATAS Travel Fair 2018 (Singapore Expo Halls 4 & 5A, Booth 4H16) and Travel Revolution 2018 (Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre, Hall E, Booth 56) exhibitions in Singapore.

Visitors can scan the photos on display at the booths of Insight Vacations once they download the IV40 app from the Apple or Google Play app stores.

Those who register will instant-win prizes and enjoy savings as part of the travel companys 40th birthday celebration.

For customers, the AIQ app allows a personalised and direct channel to connect quickly with a brand, and they can submit a request for more information or easily enter a contest to win prizes.

Insight Vacations is the first travel company in South East Asia to adopt AIQ’s Visual Recognition Technology (VRT).
